Who We AreWe Are Family has been dedicated to providing support and resources for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (GLBTQ) youth ages 16-23. We provide support primarily through a program called SafeSpace, a weekly gathering of young GLBTQ people who get together to share their experiences, express their feelings, and talk about whatever is on their mind. With two trained adult group facilitators present at every SafeSpace gathering, the meeting is both safe and structured. Ultimately, our goal is to help empower GLBTQ youth and to help them find their place in the world, in their families, and in their communities. You are visitor: 2482 ©2008 We Are Family |
 We Are Family is one of the only active 501(c)(3) organizations in South Carolina whose mission focuses specifically on GLBTQ youth.
